THE MISSION MIKOCHENI HOSPITAL

The MMH is one of the leading private hospitals in Tanzania that has been operational for more than 18 years since its inception. It is among the four hospitals in Tanzania accredited by the Medial Council of Tanganyika under the Ministry of Health as teaching hospital for the medical university. Other teaching hospitals in the country are the Muhimbili National Hospital, Mbeya Referral Hospital, KCMC Hospital in Moshi, and Bugando Hospital in Mwanza. Highly qualified, trained and experienced personnel manage MMH. These include Nurses, Medical Laboratory Technicians, Radiographers, Physiotherapists, Pharmacists, Dentists, Ophthalmologists, General Medical Practitioners and Specialists in different fields of Medicine

AMBULANCE SERVICES

The hospital has a 24 hour ambulance services that provides emergency paramedic services to patients and quick shuttle to the main hospital.

MMH-STEMM (SIXOULAND TANZANIA MEDICAL MINISTRIES) PROGRAM

The client Staff and their dependants will also have access to specialist from MMH-STEMM program whereby Specialists from STEMM in the USA do run Orthopaedics clinics and operations in collaboration with the Mission Mikocheni experts every six month. The consultation is free and the operations are subsidized

THE MISSION MIKOCHENI OUTREACH PROGRAM

Upon starting accessing our services, the client Staff will enjoy the benefit of Mission Mikocheni Outreach Program, which is a preventive program (if agreed by you  our corporate client)

Under the outreach program the doctor from Mission Mikocheni visits our corporate client at the work place (once a month/six month or year) to do a general medical examination.

PAYMENT FOR SERVICE RENDERED

We offer our services in cash or on credit basis payable three to four weeks after presenting our bills every end of the month. An agreement should be signed for the services to be rendered on credit basis. In order to closely monitor the expenditure, whenever the cost of individual case exceeds certain amount, we do ask our corporate client to set the standard of the amount which, they would like to be informed for authorization
